Welcome to Breach - welcome back to Trench.
They did it, finally an album you can put beside Trench, with the same charisma, a lot of original sounds and straight up bangers. I had a lot of problems with Clancy. With this one, I have absolutely zero complaints, and whats more I'm delighted because the ideas here are 2 times bolder and somehow executed perfectly.

It's decent, I don't expect JPEG to do whole 180 and do dogshit album,
that being said, it's his weakest work yet.
Calling it experimental doesn't help when it's sound like mixture of everything he has done in the past 4 years (he did dubstep here tho).
And his ass so annoying, I blinked at it when music defended itself, now meh, log out of twitter peggy
Serj and company so unhinged at 3rd track I burst out laughing and needed a break on 4th. Ahh, such a fun listen. I think it is really a prime example of alternative metal, because I can't imagine any other band pulling out these ideas and not being absolute dogshit
For me it's not even close to what original Hollow Knight soundtrack was. While i was playing (150h right now) most of the times I didn't even notice the soundtrack, and locations has more united vibe, like I was in Pharloom, not in any distinct location. For me HK soundtrack was something so unique and dreamy. Silksong OST is more epic, like you can put it in any Triple A fantasy game and it would make wonders, but it sound like you don't wander around the world of bugs no more. ... read more
