This feels like the album Tamino was born to make. I have no idea how he's going to follow this up, such an immaculate masterpiece. My only gripe with it is that "Dissolve" should've been the final track and "Amsterdam" should've been left on the cutting room floor.
I love Kevin as much as the next guy, and I think he's insanely talented. His songwriting is obviously the highlight of each track - so specific and cinematic. However, I feel like here it's also what somewhat kills the album for me. Can't even begin to describe how disappointed I am in this. And to the ppl who think 'I don't get it'.... pls get off twitter and go walk around your neighbourhood or smth bc this is not it. Some obvious duds on the tracklist, but making something this consistent and cohesive is incredible. Also, Vhs is one of the best songs ever made argue with the wall babe

Weakest out of Billie's albums, but that's only because of the high standard she's set for herself. Still, there's a lot to enjoy in this album. My main critique is that, while I appreciate and admire the experimentation and the unexpected directions some of the songs go in, I think the album does it too much to the point where the unpredictability loses meaning and breaks the songs. Casual, Naked in Manhattan and My Kink is Karma are some of the best songs of the decade and I'll stand by that till the end of time
