How lucky I feel, to have an album like this!
Each song is so calm and the best for night-time travels, chilling or studying period, plus still great for gaming. I know NO other song that are as good for looking at the night skies and stars as this album. Plus the mixing, atmosphere and melodies are immaculate.
Even Medusa is chilly and energetic sounding, being a dubstep song. Also, most dubstep songs from other artists are very cliché and once again steps in my "heard one, heard ... read more

I've enjoyed this a lot. The only thing that still bothers me is the singing, which sounds like the singer just read the lyrics and shouted them, didn't really focus on the vocal range, instead it was like an automated robot sang the verses. While I am at it, it was hard to tell at some songs, which parts were meant to be different verses, or if one song meant to be just one long verse. Other than that, pretty good. My personal favorite has to be Venusian 2.

Some albums were too noisy and the sounds were awfully shit, which ended up in negative score.
Well, here, it was an entirely different thing, that is, complete boredom. Storytelling is as forgettable as it could have been, listening to this was a boredom, nothing here was worth mentioning.

After learning that Julien-K is a side project from Orgy, I decided to give their debut album a shot, after I did so with an another album of Julien-K: California Noir - Chapter Two: Nightlife in Neon.
Sadly, neither of the mentioned albums could offer the magic feeling Julien-K's debut album gave.

For a long time, I was interested in some rock music mixed with space and futuristic sounds. Found the band named Failure, but so far, it was indeed a failure. I searched and searched, then I found Julien-K. Knowing that they made a song for a game I still love to this day, Sonic Heroes, which was also pretty rock-y and futuristic sounding, I gave their first album a try. It was definitely worth it. All songs are distinct from each other, very fun to listen to, have that much needed rock and ... read more

(this is for a list) What is an obscure album that you wish more people had heard?
About
Self-proclaimed deeply passionate music enthusiast and audiophile. Genre does not matter for me, only the comfortableness of the music. If it's unbearable, don't expect 29+ score.
