Jessie Ware always delivers a good time and creates an ethereal landscapes for her listeners to discover. Although her previous projects hit more instantly for me - this still had some really good standouts and songs I'd revisit, such as 'I Could Get Used To This', 'Sauna', 'Mr Valentine' and my standout track - '16 Summers'! A really good album which solidifies Wares status as an exciting artist in the world of dance.
The RAYE sisters are absolutely killing it! This year is their year. What a great debut for singer Amma. Got the privilege of seeing her live when she opened for her sister RAYE and her vocals were incredible! This project has 10 carefully crafted and great songs!
Wolf Alice evoke a certain nostalgia despite being relatively new to the music scene. I only discovered them recently, but they have impressed me certainly! Songs like 'Leaning Against The Wall', 'Bread Butter Tea Sugar', 'White Horses' and 'The Sofa' have a kind of timeless quality that make repeat listens really easy. For now, a 7.5 seems fair, but I can see this project growing with time and potentially become one of my most played of 2026
In preparation for the new Jessie Ware album, I would check out her previous work. I just love the vibe and energy Jessie exudes - soul, class and a cigar! You can't beat good British soul music and this is a perfect example of an album made with passion, thought and a little bit of charm! Has made me 10x more excited to get into this ... read more
I finally got round to checking out this project! It lived up to the hype and even more. Rosalia takes you on a journey and each song is meticulously crafted to make you feel every feeling you've ever felt, remember every memory and reflect on every moment. This is her magnum opus, and her moment. Maximalism has never been more alive!
