It’s such a shame Miley didn’t stick with a more rock oriented sound because it really suits her. Her raspy voice is perfect for this genre of music and I really hope she revisits it some day. did the math and Boys Will Be Boys drags this album down by almost 8% which is kind of a shame. Other than that major flaw, this album is genuinely amazing, it’s 35 minutes of pure pop perfection. If someone is looking for some classically good pop, I’d recommend them this. Everything is so much fun and very well-executed. Witnessing this whole era unfold live was also so much fun and dare I say the best executed pop girl era of the decade so far (tied with Brat).

This is maybe the most soulless album I’ve ever heard. Everything is so painfully generic and formulaic. There is not a single ounce of creativity or artistic merit in this. If you’re looking to listen to the most corporate album ever, this is the one for you! Shoutout to this for being my first all skip album.
