It's okay. Not the best contender for standout album of this year. This albums gave me Clairo vibes/production here and there with her vocals. Also, this album very much reminds me of Kansas anymore by ROLE MODEL with the country pop production. But, not bad overall.
Honestly, my first time ever listening to them, so I wasn’t expecting anything exciting or much at all. Based off the singles, I knew how it would sound. Really super laid back record. Definitely fits the summer vibe. “car” was the best track.
Was bit of a let down ngl. the singles were amazing, but felt so out of place when you listen to the album. plus, the album didn’t feel as cohesive as it should have. tell me why track after track, it switched from upbeat to ballad-esque…

Peak Justin Timberlake. Definitely an essential album of the 2000s.
Not a bad soundtrack. Though most of the songs don’t fit the theme of what an action/sport movie would be. I think they focused on trying to bring in big artists in order to make the movie sell. Definitely some filler songs.
Let’s start with the positives. I’m glad she’s back.
Now, the negatives. Much of the sounds were very minimalist and tried to replicate an indie/bedroom pop production. It leaned more towards Pure Heroine production, but 2.0. I love the concept of this album. She was blending in nostalgia and contemporary musical sounds and imagery. I am not sure if people notice that. Just look at the features. Stevie Nicks and Sean Lennon (John Lennon's son) were a way to create that nostalgic feeling. While The Weeknd, A$AP, and Carti are more modern artists.
