Opening his debut album with Hypersonic Missile is crazy. While there are highlights in this album, it is not my favorite from Sam.
This was one of my go to albums during the pandemic. And I still keep revisiting it because it is just that good.
This is definitely better than Henry, come on. Reminds me a lot of Margaret from OB.
Was blown away with the production. Such a big change from what was given in "Model."
Surprisingly, the deluxe songs continue to fit the album. I was kind of concerned on the first listen because the songs felt more laid-back compared to the main tracks. But, after a few more listens, they sound very well and still stick to the theme of the album.
Since they released the 5th anniversary edition of this album, my love for it has increased. This album is indie rock perfection and it's pretty impressive for their debut. It will remain a highlight in their career.
If your listening to Gracie Abrams, might as well just listen to Lorde at that point. This album is just cringe.
I was not expecting this album to be this good. The album is so beautifully made. I loved the blend of country and pop.
