It's pretty good, it isn't very consistent and I think that is what holds it back from being a perfect album.
This is Metallica's best album. Every song is amazing, there are no skips at all. Some people like master of puppets more but personally I enjoy this album more. Ride The Lightning has some sort of energy to it that makes me want to climb a mountain and shout "RIDE THE FUCKING LIGHTNING" as loud as I can. Peak music
Paranoid and Electric Funeral are serious bangers but the rest of album didn't reach the same highs for me. I can definitely see why this was so important even if it isn't for me.
Pretty boring but it's ok background music, if I tried to focus on it while listening I would probably fall asleep. No tracks stand out musically but one song made me laugh because it's about being a cuck.
I don't know why I love this album; it isn't genius; it isn't deep or political. But no other album is this fun. Every song feels like a bite-sized retro horror film, and I love it so much. This album isn't for everyone, and it's super experimental, but if you are willing to take a chance with it, I promise you won't be bored.
