Even though Kanye West is my favorite artist of all time and my bias towards all of his music is obvious, this is undeniably one of the greatest hip hop albums of all time. The beats are super catchy and crisp and Kanye slides on them so well with possibly the best and most intricate lyrical performance out of his whole discography that I could dwell on and analyze forever. Some good moments but unfortunately most of it is corny and I really don't enjoy when she shouts on the songs it kinda gives me second hand embarrassment... Anyway other than the way she conducts herself on the songs I feel like the mix of ballads and pop just isn't needed and the ballads really bring the album down a lot. Most times I can overlook corny lyrics but on this album it's just in your face over the whole thing and it gets super irritating. I can understand liking this ... read more

Very beautiful album! I understand that Yachty's vocals may be a turnoff to the record but I love them in addition to James Blakes. Very consistently creative and quality tracks all over this thing but my favorite is Midnight. Song of the year so far.
