Deco*27 actually making a good song? Impossible.
As someone who has been a vocal hater of Deco*27 in the past, mainly due to genuine resentment toward the producer Deco*27 has become after Android Girl, I will say this release surprised me because I found myself actually enjoying it. I usually try to avoid making overly negative reviews unless something particularly offends me, with that being said, this song confuses and frustrates me to a degree that I have not seen in years. Having been a massive fan of the anime and original manga for years, a full ost listen was a bit overdue, but fully worth the wait. This has to be one of the most beautiful and unique anime soundtracks I've ever heard, the use of soft strings and piano accompaniment makes this an intensely emotional listen, and this soundtrack's implementation of the marimba parts found in most tracks gives it an otherworldly feel.
