Never really tried listening to soul before but wow this was a fantastic listen, Sadie is my favourite, followed by That feeling, beautiful songs and a tremendous voice
This was such a good album, and it feels like he hasn't even reached his peak creatively yet with some room for improvement (writing from memory, need to relisten at some point)
first song sounds mixed rly weird to me, some songs are alright, but a lot of them are pretty boring and I just found myself skipping through most of them, these songs really drag.
Wagwan was pretty good, moment of silence was alright. goin up was decent, safety was decent as well
final thoughts : first 3 songs decent, then has a run of what I feel like are some very weak songs, before it picks up again after wagwan for me, probably listening in the wrong environment , but can't imagine ... read more
Pretty good, feels like I've heard a lot of stuff like this before but that probably stems from them taking inspiration from this album I'd imagine, I reckon if I heard this when it first came out I might've enjoyed it more, would've rated higher but don't think I'll be returning to this album much
I wanted to like the live so much more than I did but it just didn't work as well for me as the studio album, it was probably way better to actually be there than watch it back but it just didn't hit the spots after the magic did for me
really great album but Isaac Wood was one of my main draw ins to ants from up there
Haven't listened in a bit but always find myself coming back to this every few months
Relisten: Its a 10 for me dont know why I didn't make it one
Pretty good sounding single, I kinda don't like how Wilbur's vocals are mixed but can't really pinpoint why lol, but the bridge really takes this song down a few notches, "this just in I am a total fucking dumbass" just gives me the ick and the rest of the bridge is just kinda there
This is my favourite album of all time as of writing this review. It just hits every spot for me, beautiful production, the storytelling is fantastic and have listened many a time now and haven't really found a single flaw in any of the songs, everything feels like it's needed and has a purpose,
