One of the strangest albums I've ever heard, and of course it's a Kero Kero Bonito album. Taking a complete 180 from their previous work, the band mix dreamy vocals, noisy pop and the occasional rock-heavy guitar to create this, and it's pretty intriguing. This is not your typical album, with melancholic undertones Kero Kero Bonito present a highly creative story that you won't find anywhere else. In a unique production Porter Robinson creates an electropop album flowing with optimism and good vibes. Nurture is an album that goes beyond musical talent in being able to evoke feelings inside of its listeners, encouraging everyone to be hopeful and more inspiring. Whilst promoting introspectionism over a beautiful contrast of electronic, synth and occasionally piano instrumentals, Nurture endorses a clear message; to aim high and simply be yourself.
Milk Talk's debut album is a calming mix of disco, synth-funk in an almost city pop-esque manner. Q.i's silky vocals amongst synth solos presents an impressive selection of music you would find yourself listening to on a calm summer evening. What impressed me the most here are the hard-hitting basslines adding to the depth of this album's instrumentals. This album is both highly creative and incredibly fun to listen to and I really enjoyed every part of it!

An impressive mix of bass infused disco-pop / soul. Superbloom is an incredibly fun listen, full of sensual and upbeat 90s influenced party songs made complete by Jessie Ware's beautiful vocals. I really enjoyed the vibe of this album where at times, it gave off a sort of city pop energy.
An indie-punk rock and roll experience with heavy, rhythmic guitars and intentionally offbeat vocals that develop well with each song's progression. For a punk album, For Love of Grace & The Hereafter is fairly uplifting, with a real sense of confidence from the vocalist all throughout. This album is definitely the most vocally and instrumentally consistent album I have heard within rock music, it's not particularly unique but that doesn't matter, it's still a great ... read more
