Danny Brown - Stardust
20

20 purely because the quadeca songs are ok and Copycats is a BANGER.. but other than that i don't think danny fits on this style of music too well just yet,, but i commend him for trying! Lot of very overwhelming songs (in a bad way).

W danny brown for working with trans artists <3

Marcix - Digital Reassurance

REALLY loving Marcix's style recently, 100000% one of the better artists to rise out of Disciples slop. Mixing is a little iffy sometimes, not as bad as others are saying. First drop of Hyperactive could use a little more bass, though the song is SAVED by the last drop. Love the init sounding saw wave thrown into allot of his tracks, really fits with all the crunchy layers. Digital Reassurance (title track) feels so nostalgic, very complextro feeling. Found Marcix through Gump Town, still ... read more

JKuch - Specter's Garden

Love Jkuch's rich production and raw vocals. His vocals having minimal autotune (if any at all?) adds character and emotion to these pretty songs. The features all mesh perfectly onto this project. Like the snare on the last drop on Ghost could be a little punchier. Though i still do love Ghost ... read more

Groovy, bouncy production marrying both electronic and real instruments. Just from the top of my head, I know he used a banjo, violins, cello (?), horns, guitars and some other string instruments that i can't pinpoint. Somehow fitting perfectly with the odd synths and different approach to vocals. Beautiful use of dissonance in doors, and i especially adore the vocal production. Feelwitchu's vocals being placed in the right ear with the reverb in the left, Rae Morris's vocals ... read more
