y'know i gave this thing a rating but there's no possible way to go about this objectively. if i'm being completely unbiased, yeah sure there are a few tracks that simply are weaker than others. and one could also say that maybe like the vocals get a bit repetitive.

of all the death grip albums year of the snitch is the best constructed. now what i mean by this is the way which the cuts on this thing are arranged is the best death grips has done.

this album is like having a partner.
it's a lovely blend of 20 tracks, arranged in compilation kind of way. its almost like the album is split into sections, and its so easy to just listen to a section on repeat, or have the entire album, or even just looping one track. there also comes a pleasant amount of variety, all covering different things, but still working with a consistent sound. which makes it such a reliable and comforting abum to listen. i run through a lot of different emotions ... read more
