For about 5 seconds it I thought he was gonna save it on the verse with the Lou Reed vocals and then I realized that those too were also autotuned and I knew it was all over JULIAN LOCK IN
The autotune is fine, and everybody’s gonna switch up when they hear the actual release. I thought this was excellent and very reminiscent of Phrazes for the Young and that 2010/Angles era of Strokes. The instrumental break that they used for the promo video is the best part.
I’m confident that autotune is not going to be a theme on this album but if it is idrc
Pretty impressive lineup for a charity album. The acts that I was anticipating all outdid themselves and I also got a good introduction to a few artists that I've been intending to listen to.

I thought Lecture 25 was good but this has firmly cemented my hype for this album. It's crazy how talented each individual member of black midi is.
