It’s genuinely not bad for the reason I see most people give.
When you do a cover, you need to bring something to the table. Jojo genuinely just made a 1:1 cover but a little worse. What is the market that she’s hitting when she just does everything the original does but worse? Also the auto tune sounds terrible on this. The robot pitch shifting doesn’t lend itself to the song.
The simple question is, what does this song offer?
