While often inconsistent, A$AP Rocky still manages to create a interesting and unique soundscape. Although, that doesn’t save this album from criticism. This time, I’m going to start out with my criticisms. This album is just so inconsistent, some songs are absolutely mind blowing with their arrangements and deliveries, and then others are just kind of there. I just wish everything on this album was on par with tracks like Changes or Hun43rd, because those tracks are truly amazing. The last five tracks is what the whole album should have been like. They are all so consistent and unique in their sound and content. It’s a shame the rest of the album is so varied in quality. I love a good chunk of this album, and even if it is just for those parts, I recommend giving TESTING a listen.
