At its best, it feels like background music. At its worst, it's either boring or embarrassing
Incredibly solid and enjoyable little EP. See-through is such a gem. I love her voice
Dixon is quickly becoming another one of those household name greats. Don't be surprised when people start talking about this guy in the same breath as Kendrick
this album feels like being touch starved
Edit: I just can't stop listening to this
This one is extremely hard to rate. I sat there and listened to all of it, so that's a testament to how engaging it is, but it didn't strike the emotional resonance that I wanted it to. It felt a bit too disconnected. I'm not sure why this needed to be one song. I enjoyed the quieter banjo sections the most actually. I guess I can't expect this to be Lamb As Effigy
Forgot to review this but Cult Status is so fucking good. I really enjoyed the ending of New Black History on the original
This is hilarious lol. I feel like it's not supposed to be taken seriously at all. Like look at the title of the EP and the cover. And listen to the intro track. I this entire EP is a bit that they probably shat out in a singular studio sesh
Really cool. I think I'll need to give it a few more listens to fully emotionally process it
