Fun short listen that still brings lots of enjoyment & creativity that Smino always brings with flows, lyrics & vocals like no one else. Pretty good production throughout everything too. Quite a few forgettable songs like Dear Fren, Tequan, Glo-Fi & Bun B was pretty disappointing as a feature & I do like Ms. Joyce quite a bit. Of course, not as good as Smino's other projects, but still a cool fun listen. I saw him live on this album's tour & it was so much fun.
Could it just like have... something!?! There's new people like Yeat & Carti that could make this sound interesting with willing to take some experimental risks production or vocal wise with their tone or delivery, but this just feels like nothing. So many of the beats sounds so messy & clunky & with his vocals that either sound bad with his autotune or sound like nothing interesting. And I can't find anything good in the writing. Personally prefer Cameron's solo work, but still a very solid album with all of the playing & writing throughout the album being pretty solid. A few songs I don't care to go back to much compared to the other songs, but really great & fun work with lots of highlights like Trinidad, Cobra, Husbands, Half Real & Au Pays du Cocaine.
