Not my favourite of Dougs, waiting until I can add in his other releases to AOTY. Still some nice sound scape though but nothing breath-taking in this release.

She obviously has a beautiful voice and that cant be disputed but this album just does nothing for me. It just sounds very inauthentic to me. Its not a soundscape I can relate to at all.

Beautiful, beautiful melancholic album. Takes my mind to misty valleys and dark English landscapes. I love the grouper-esque style of Rapts vocals and the beautiful sharpness of the piano piercing through the fog. His guitar riffs are subtly mesmerizing and leave me feeling like im in a trance. It sounds like a memory playing to you, calling to you to come forwards, to remember, to grieve, to be. The whole album is dreamy and deserves to be spun on decks all over the world.
