I really want to be excited for this new album. The band sounds great, it is easily THE STROKES through and through but Julian cannot seem to drop that god awful autotune. It completely destroys the song. The Strokes are The Strokes. The Voidz are The Voidz. They should remain separate. Huge ass stinker right here. So upsetting.
Huge disappointment. The autotune is awful here and the song overall just isnt super interesting.

I had decent hope for this to be Joji's best album but it is very bogged down by the insane amount of filler songs that barely surpass 2 minutes. If you axed a solid third of this album and kept the rest, it would have probably been his best work to date. Overall it is a step up from Smithereens but doesnt quite reach the heights that Nectar managed to reach.
