I don't know how to feel about this album. It is good and has a phenomial production to its sounds but its content just feels a little bit dry or otherwise flat finished product. There are some pretty good standouts but as a whole this album is good but nothing much more.
The promotion and the virility of this album was incredible and an marketing masterclass, but to sit down and listen to this objectively, again, its nothing mind blowing, nothing I haven't already heard done more to ... read more
A Fantastic return, growing up listening to Bands like Pendulum and The Prodigy definitely leaves me with some biases but i'm so glad as I've thrown myself heavily down the modern metalcore, alternative and progressive metal rabbit holes, so too has Pendulum grown with me on my musical journey as Inertia takes on more of a metal bias/ focus which is perfect for me and my tastes.

One of the best albums produced I've been listening to this album for years and the songs consistently sneak back into my main rotation because sometimes when you crave some Michelin starred metalcore, you play Thornhill's The Dark Pool.
Vibrant, crushing, a sonic masterpiece. This track listing is the equivalent of footballs world XI or boxings HOF. I could go in depth on each song and its never ending list of positives but to simply put like this. Please do yourself a service and ... read more
Genuinely one of the best works i've ever listened to.
This isn't a case of glaze or bias, its a flag planting statement to a genre so diverse, rapidly developing but stagnant (yes I know this is a bit of an Oxymoron)
To explain, as we're in what looks to be a renaissance of modern metal and new nü metal, a lot of the largest and modern bands have started a type of audio homologation off the backs of such incredible successes. Vianova tears up the rulebook and throws it ... read more
