Big label slop, litteraly playing with a dead body for money, already saw that with nirvana.
They finally know what they're doing with this one, finally found their own style (cuz honestly the first EPs were not good and God's country was just light good), industrial/sludge metal at his finest with a lil bit of some soaring chorus which make me want to cry. I love this one (i know so many people said it before me but goddamn this shi sounds like filth by swan)
What a beautiful goodbye for such a memorable band in the history of goth rock.
their creepiest album thanks to this immersive sound which make the terrible sound quality like a part of the job of making probably the best live album of only the old swans era ( because swans are dead and deliquenses exists). Some of the tracks are totaly better than the studio original one. Michael gira sucking his michophone on "coward" was extremely epic.
