I should listen to more mitski.

I have to admit i stopped listening to her a while ago, but after listening to this again i dont know why i ever stopped. Mitskis music is genuinely incredible. Its explosive but comforting at the same time. Definitely one of her most saddest albums, if not the first.

I must say when I first listened to this album I was very surprised. Ethel cains ability to mix trauma and history into emotional, enjoyable music is insane. The album starts with a sense of youthful longing and transforms into pain, trauma and death. Ethel pours herself into the album, her experiences of her transition as a southern Baptist and her journey of destruction and survival.

I just wanna say i found Ayesha few years ago and i LOVE her music. I reviewed this album on request from one of my good friends, Dom after I made him review it. I love Ayeshas music due to her style, genuine confidence and energy she puts into her music. Her music mostly themes around sex and desire in a humorous way which creates her iconic and memorable songs. Realistically, what can I say. Sabrina's album short 'n sweet is just not for me. To me, Sabrina just sounds like a knockoff version of bigger artists trying to blend in and make her way of fame. Now, don't get me wrong I have nothing against her but her music is truly awful.
