This absolutely needs a re-release on vinyl - hell I'll take streaming services too
Pretty decent remix album with a lot of variety - the Fall Out Boy appearance really threw me off for a bit there but it totally works
This is where it all kind of fell apart - really respect the big middle finger to Victory Records though on The Document Speaks for itself.
I also wore myself out listening to Violence and Sometimes You're The Hammer, Sometimes You're the Nail back in the day
Second half of this album isn't as good as the first - don't @ me
God the original album cover sucks compared to the deluxe version
At least the drums sound better than the debut - it's a fine enough album but definitely pales in comparison to their next 3 albums (yes this came out after FTWHH but it's literally the first album)
Just found out that 13 Angels trended on TikTok because people thought that it sounds like a cat meowing and that the cat died afterwards.
Actual brainrot.
This album is stunning
That drop in Earthmover is one of the greatest moments of music

Efrim was right about how this isn't Godspeed - I wouldn't say I loved it but I didn't hate it either. I'm just happy that this demo has been unearthed after nearly 30 years of it just floating in the aether.
While it is good - I mean it's a Godspeed album, it is gonna be good - this is their weakest effort. It sound like a diluted down version of previous Godspeed records but without a lot of the payoff. They still do a rock solid job with the closing 3 part track but yeah this didn't really impact me in the same way that any other project from the band has done - even with Asunder, which I thought was their weakest album prior. It's good but they have done better and they can do better.
One of the weaker Godspeed albums but is still really solid - granted it does feel like one big 40 minute track, with Piss Crowns being a tremendous payoff and easily one of my favourite songs by them. Lambs Breath and Asunder, Sweet are the albums main weak spot with more of an emphasis on drone than anything else. And while I like drone music, I think it overstays it's welcome after getting past Lamb's Breath, either that or they could've added another track but idk. It is still a great ... read more
Most insane 3 album cycle - even if GY!BE had left it here and never released anything else they'd have one of the best discographies of all time (it still is but some of their newer albums don't compare to the early 90's and 2000's material)
My favourite EP - BBF3 has less guns than I have praise to give this
Prefer the CD version slightly more but I'll take either, both are stunning
So I first heard of this album when clipping. used a sample of someone saying "Body and Blood" (from the song Shrine) in their song called... well "Body and Blood". It's one of my favourite songs by them so, interested in where the sample came from, I knew I had to give this thing a listen
It's a pretty dark listen - based around Gary Ridgway, the Green River killer, it's supposed to put you in the head of one of America's most fucked up serial killers, The closing track ... read more
