I'd say James Bay hits best when he's not trying to make a hit song again. Honestly, many great ideas get washed away by the bland song structure, the sometimes questionable production, and pretty much the same topic in every single song. To be fair, I enjoy James Bay's vocals and timbre very much and it carries this whole record for me. But even then some songs are so unbelievably uncreative that it's overall just a mediocre experience.

Nice to see a step in the right direction again!
Very excited to hear the LP, this song already had some ambitious moments. I especially enjoyed Josh's drumming in this one.
