last i indulged in khalid was the american teen era. i liked a song or two since then but never gave him the time of day. the only reason i even gave THIS album a chance was bcs i saw a clip of a song on twitter that got me hooked. classic bruno mars yearning. i love it. a lot of memorable songs here, but it kinda felt like it was missing something? can’t quite put a finger on it though.

definitely not for me. i feel bad rating it as low as i want to purely based on my enjoyment, because it is a well made album. so i simply will not rate it. i always appreciate when artists experiment, but this is unfortunately my least favorite gorillaz album.

gave don toliver a chance and i happy with it. i liked the energy, and it will probably be one of my workout albums.
