Peak, had very low expectations for this album, the only reason I wanted to review this was the cover art looked cool but holy this is incredible, this feels like if Willyrodriguez and glass beach formed a band and made this, this is a incredible album in every way shape of form, all the songs are equally consistent and well produced, some songs do drag a tiny bit but not to the point where I was annoyed at the album for it, all the songs has its own personality which makes it a lot more ... read more

Was kinda expecting this Album to be solid and good and I was right, songs such as former living things and methanol fire are such fantastic songs, they really stand out, they were very well produced and I adore the writing for methanol fire, amazing unfortunately the other songs are not worth talking about much because they are forgettable, when I first listen to them I thought that they were good but something I would not go back to, and it started to feel inconsistent near the end especially ... read more

Just like load, this is very forgettable and not interesting at all but the reason I gave the score of this album higher than load is that there are more songs In this album that I adore, fuel, the memory remains and the unforgiving II are all incredible songs but the rest is straight up mediocre and very inconsistent. Overall a couple of 8-9/10 songs and a lot of mid songs, another mid Metallica album
