This is an amazing album that reframed my whole view on rage music. Slayr’s masterful blend of genres and catchy melodies elevate this album way above anything else I’ve heard recently.
A much more diverse sounding album with a mix of pop-rock, ballads, and pop-rnb, which is a departure from her primarily pop-ballad style. I personally like it.
Better on repeat listens. In the right context, this is a very chill fun alt rnb pop record. Standouts are DIE FOR ME and DISCONNECTED
Indie rock that hits very hard when you're driving. Standouts are First Day and The Sound of Changing Place
Upon first listen, I wanted to like this more, there's just too much filler ambient tracks here. Upon taking more time with it, I find it to be very deep and emotionally impactful, just still probably too long. Standouts are Fuck Me Eyes and Waco, Texas.
Pleasant and samey, but I didn't mind since I liked the vibe. Standouts are Life is Strange and Watch Me Go
The production on this reeks of dijon in a good way. However its very bloated and I hate the druski interludes that pad out the album unnecessarily.
I really liked the vibe of the beginning of the album, but the latter half gets too dark and gross sounding for me. Maybe that's the point, but still didn't connect with me.
Kinda reminds me of sleep token with all the genre mixing. And I like sleep token so
