Cute little lofi indie album. I enjoyed the consistent vibe throughout and I didn't get bored of it.
Cohesive, slow vibe throughout. it's pleasant to listen to, and some songs even sound like Jeff Buckley to me. However, ultimately I can't see this ever being more than standard background study or reading music, so it gets a meh from me.
I really love Theo's groovy and heartfelt musical style, and he's still coming up with great songs 4 albums in. Unfortunately, I feel like the slower tracks on this album aren't as impactful or catchy as some of his past ones, and they sometimes run the risk of being boring for me. Standouts are Be The Wheel and 5-Watt Rock
From his upbeat, rock influenced songs to his slower ballads, everything is groovy and easy on the ears. Standouts for me are Good to Be Alone and Plain Jane Heroin
I've listened to Tiffany for a long time, and I've always preferred her more electronic/hyperpop songs, and this album is basically all that. Some of the songs are just ok, but the ones that hit really hit. Standouts are SIMON SAID and LOYOLA
I really like this album, it's the first Sleep Token album I was exposed to. I like how they switch between genres and styles, and I think it works most of the time. The drumming on some of these songs is insane, and I think the vocalist has a very cool voice.
Oh boy. I really wish I liked this album more. He took a big departure from his older stuff this time, and it sounds ok. There are a few standouts like Cheerleader and Russian Roulette, but most of the songs on this are perhaps too slow and introspective for my taste. We'll see if it grows on me
Idk what's up with some of these reviews, these 3 songs are some of the best songs the Band CAMINO has put out. Honestly, I've listened to this ep way more times than the Dark at this point, this is the kind of music I want them to make more of
Fun pop album I randomly found at a record store. Fav is Moving The River
Very special album for me, it really introduced me to EDM that wasn't just wubwub music. Fav is Sad Machine
The album art perfectly encapsulates what it feels like listening to this album. Favs are Mother, Musician, and Mirror
My favorite paper kites album. Consistent bangers, great vibe. Feels like cruising around a big city at night
I like how consistent this album is in vibe while also having a good variety of song with various tempos to keep things fresh. Favs are What's the Use and Ladders
I adore the vibe and atmosphere this album gives off. It feels old and folky but new and exciting as well. Favs are Love Like Ghosts and Meet Me in The Woods
Toko blew my mind as a highschooler. It still does today, as does this whole album every time I listen to it
