EDIT: okay, i lied. after YEARS of ignoring sleep token, i decided to give them a chance, and boy did they not disappoint. sure, there’s still a few things i don’t like about them, but i like them more than i dislike them. this is a decent listen.

This album is very overrated in my opinion. I love EVH’s guitar work here, but I just can’t stand David Lee Roth’s vocals. I think “Jump” is a very obnoxious song, and “Panama” is okay I guess. “Hot For Teacher” is also a decent song, but not enough for me to care about this project. SING THE SORROW - REVIEW

I actually really enjoyed this record. Having only heard “Miss Murder” through GH3, I decided to check out a full length AFI record. I have seen this band unintentionally back in 2019 when they opened for The Smashing Pumpkins, and I always thought they were amazing, so I’m a little surprised to only recently listen to a full AFI LP.
