wouldn’t have listened to the self titled album for another probably two months if it wasn’t for this
this song really has everything i love about snow strippers. the drums, the hard to understand catchy choruses, and the pretty synths. serious props to snow strippers here because this song is great
keep holding on is a great first song (i think it’s their first), they got the soon to be snow strippers formula down but not perfected yet 7.5/10
the haunting me vocals really bring the song together, it has a nice feel 7.5/10 also
know my name is my favorite snow strippers song. the fact they started their debut album with that is CRAZY.
all the time is like okay i guess but we’re all here for know my name
know my name 10/10
all the time 5.5/10
they put all the best tracks in the first half :/ by the time we get to that second half it mostly feels.. whatever. also i genuinely want to know how many singles released for this album? it feels like most the album was singles lol
i will say this album does start with my favorite snow strippers song yet so some of the songs are bound to feel bland after that
favorites: know my name (10), tragic surprise (9), fantasy (8.5)
very short. but hey it’s not the shortest in her discography so
other than the singles there’s not really anything to come back to i feel like, except noises i really love noises
if you have 20m i don’t see why you shouldn’t listen to it though because it isn’t bad and it’s short
favorites: illegal, tonight, noises, stateside
this very well could have been a different album idk why this had to be called an eternal atake deluxe
i don’t think i’d relisten to anything other than sun’s out
wassap is very.. i don’t know how to describe it. but its too much going on ๐ญ
felt like future & drake moreso then drake & future
favorites: live from the gutter, jersey
there’s two formulas on here
A) arpeggios and heavy bass
B) heavy bass and more heavy bass
it works well sometimes but there’s also some stinkers here, like most run
favorites: awsum, up strike, injoyable
i hate that all my scores recently have been anything but green but i’ve been rating songs differently
yea… big step down from house of balloons but still some decent stuff here. lows are low though which is upsetting because hob was so good :/
favorites: lonely star, the zone, the birds pt 2
i couldn’t make it all the way through. beats are boring and choruses are garbage. there’s like two songs i like here but i just don’t like this kind of rap
like i listened to the whole thing but i zoned out so hard on the last 2 songs that i don’t remember a thing from them so i won’t count them in the scores
luxury tax the ๐ no ๐งข (da wizard is great too)
che kind of understands what he's doing this time (a carti impression) and the beats are a big step up imo, still room for improvement and quite a bit of filler but still a big step up
favorites: hood famous, mannequin, black swan
there's occasional good beats but che consistently does absolutely nothing on any beat he touches except makes them a little worse maybe
favorites: interlude, cut off your hands
i remembered this existed and now it’s gonna be on my wrapped again for sure nice
first time i heard this last year when the piano kicked in i was so surprised (this is album version im talking abt) and it was either on my spotify wrapped for the year or just missed it. i can tell this is a scrapped thank god for drugs song since that’s my favorite concept for a kanye album, and it just has that experimental.. ish.. beat style that yeezus does. future here does such a beautiful ... read more
