this album’s turning five years old so i thought i might as well listen to this with no prior knowledge of the other lil boat albums. my thoughts?

the start is insane. the run of TD, pardon me (which i hated at first prior to full listen) and demon time is crazy and the best run in the album no doubt, with other good tracks like top down, black jesus, and split being in the first half (notice the lack of whole time mention)

the lows here are… zzzzz
the highs are great though, better than the first ep even. but overall the lows drag it down a little, overall this is a little below the first ep but still a solid album for it’s length. i’d say it’s worth listening to

it’s crazy how the first part of this album sounds like the cover

mixed bag - amazing highs, but just boring lows. i love the few sounds that sound very boom-bappy, and the trap songs go hard
the features on this album do great, don tolivation’s hook really adds to the song that he’s on

overall i really wish some of this were cut for a shorter but better album, but of course i’ll take this finished project, since there’s plenty of amazing songs here
