he definitely had fun making life of pain
he definitely had fun making most of this actually
i don’t even care that they’re deluxe only, a life of pain and kill streaks would still be some of the best songs if they were on the normal album. yea i seriously like a life of pain that much, it has the fun energy that the ‘top of the morning’ part of range brothers has, with a beat that sounds like kendrick’s part of ‘family ties’. then he roars..? for ... read more
lost souls ft brent faiyaz - pretty much the same 7.5/10
hooligan - really hard beat, nice flow and i like when he says fafafafafa for some reason 8.5/10
no sense - i love the more r&b side of baby keem. this and songs like issues, 16 and pink panties i all like the r&b aspects of. 8/10
doesn’t add all that much and the score is very slightly lower than the standard (8.075 > 8.063) but i think that’s due to lost souls. definitely prefer this over the normal, even if ... read more
nothing on this album tops ric flair drip. ric flair drip best song ever.

i enjoyed some songs here but didnt enjoy others, the Track07 remix is whatever since the original is just kind of a skit and the other song i didnt love was take it back godmode version. it was nice in idea but it wasnt executed the greatest. take it back v2 charlie heat vers is probably the worst song here just because the drums at the start are wonky
some producers do great. the best song here in my opinion is the so.incredible remix, which was my favorite on the og. i was surprised by the ... read more
in terms of comedy rap this might be the single funniest album i’ve ever listened to
yuno miles was one of the first artists i had heard of and followed religiously in 2024 (i know i dont wanna talk about it) and honestly? it’s not the worst artist i could have listened to. yuno was so funny in a good way bc im tonedeaf and i listened to him an embarrassing amount. i dont listen to him that much anymore bc i have real artists i like but i’ll still stand on the fact this era ... read more
i mean hey this is the most i’ve liked a westside gunn project
decided to check this out because it was short and i left with two songs i enjoyed and two i didnt
einstein kitchen is now one of three songs made by westside gunn i like out of the three projects i listen to, the drums are hard on this one and the piano is nice
goro is such a nothing beat. this is what i always imagine westside gunn beats sound like, in a bad way because this beat is very boring and empty in my opinion, ... read more
theres a solid four seconds of his verse id say i like! then back to not that
theres nothing to even talk about
some of the r&b stuff near the very end of the album is not the greatest but the usual pop smoke drill stuff here is hard. not much to say here, the r&b stuff really drags it on near the end sadly. is it worth listening to? honestly, for the drill bangers yeah
favorites: tokyo, aim for the moon, creature, west coast, tunnel vision, dior
least favorites: yea yea, enjoy yourself, what you know bout love, diana
dior is on evry pop smoke album. not on faith but it’s on the deluxe.. ... read more
yo shut up
is the majority of the song a chorus or did i just zone out for the entire thing?
not everybody needs to be a rapper you know
i hope the 50k tax triples
meet the woo 1 and 2 pop smoke was somethin else… no misses on those albums and this song is a banger too. plus pop smoke practically formed this type of drill. rip pop smoke.
this is definitely my favorite of yours so far. i definitely like songs with distorted 808s more so when i say wired / what it do is the best song im probably biased 😭 i really like the mashup songs here, some of my favorites are mashups. some non mashup songs go crazy too - the test dream and spinespitter are too of my other favorites (both with loud bass so there’s my bias again) i feel like ur drums have gotten better on this album. they weren’t bad before i just feel like ... read more
edit 4.29 (7.7 > 7.3) grew off me a little, the middle is boring at times and has occasional bad songs. a song or two in the beginning grew off me a bit but the rest stayed about the same
happy birthday ken carson pookie bear my birthday gift for you is that i actually like your album
i wasn’t the biggest fan of any ken carson albums before. there wasn’t one i could say i liked. until this. i don’t like this i actually really love this
first off - ken’s rapping is ... read more
no songs here hold up to head hunting’s quality but thats a really hard thing to do. i liked so romantic quite a bit though, so i wouldnt say this was a waste of a listen. just dont come into this with any hopes that there’s gonna be multiple tracks with the quality of head hunting
only one miss here, good job ken
this score is new and old, but all the new tracks are good (fashion habits doesn’t exist btw) and the beats both improved and stayed the same, if that makes sense. less repetitivity (it’s only 5 songs new so obv) and the beats are more consistently solid. overall though, doesn’t add much other than freestyle 3. i actually really like freestyle 3. one bad song, four pretty good songs, one great song
freestyle 3 / 8
fashion habits / 5.8

the ken carson album i’d consider the closest to being good is X. which it seems im by myself on this opinion
the highlights here are just as good as the highlights on a great chaos - all of the songs with features are great and i love freestyle 2. now, it still is a ken carson album and so that means there still are downsides. the beats can be repetitive at times and ken’s performances can be a little annoying every once in a while… this is my favorite ken carson album, ... read more
some 5/10s near the end but overall? a surprisingly good album, the highs here are unexpectedly good. the transitions on this album are amazing and makes the whole album tie together, i like the versatility here as well. there’s a rage song that should’ve probably just dropped on agc, some more chill songs, and the usual lil tecca music. production here is mixed but overall decent
if you’ve heard of tecca or listened to 500lbs and liked it, id say check this out. it ... read more
