Lowk Jane Remover vibes! I like this interesting change of direction for Quad and I'm excited to see how he dives into this genre.
After listening to so much music, you notice patterns and rules... AND THIS ALBUM BREAKS ALL THOSE RULES! It's nothing like I've heard before but it's also like everything I've ever heard hitting me at the same time. Such a fascinating record...
This is one of the most interesting and enjoyable music that I've heard in a very long time. Incredible production all-throughout and it's incredible that such a full, layered experience can be packed into such a small EP. The melodies are infectious and the songs themselves are very catchy yet are never one-dimensional.
Something about this album bestows upon me a deep warmth that I have never felt before…
What a journey… Quadeca’s evolution through the 2020s has to be studied… This album is conceptually and sonically one of the best albums I’ve heard in a very long time. Showing the connections and experiences that are tied to the Sea in such a cinematic and ethereal way, “Vanisher, Horizon Scraper” contains a flawless Tracklist with each song feeling like a memory or experience of another life.

“It Was Written” deserves so much more attention! The somber, much darker aesthetic of the hood lifestyle adds a whole new perspective to the world that Nas was living through. Some of Nas’s best writing and incredible flows as usual, this album is quite the experience.
These two never run out of crazy, innovative, creative ideas! The bars hit SUPER HARD and the energy across the whole project is awesome! That WICKED guitar pattern on “Gasoline Dreams” to the conscious and apologetic nature of “Ms. Jackson”, this project boasts a variety of sounds, themes, and aesthetics! Although this can be a hard project to get through due to it’s extensive length with a few songs that aren’t as quality as others, this is definitely their ... read more
It took me too long to give this album a listen!! This honestly is on the same level as Madvillainy in a way, through its creativity, cartoony nature, and some of MF DOOM’s best verses and meaningful songs. Love the structure of this album with all these foods and how it’s split into 3 parts. Appetizers (Songs), Special Recipes (Interludes), and Entrees (Even more songs!).
The legendary “Coke Rap” duo is back and better than ever. Pusha’s prime seems limitless and Malice sounds like he never left. This project marks a new chapter in their life as adults. The aftermath of their success. Fully produced by Pharrell, this project is filled with gut-wrenching, hard-hitting bars from front to back.

A beautiful, emotional, dramatic beginning for such a high quality and consistent album. John ... read more
Just sounds like what the album’s title. Dusty, full of imperfections, raw, and FRICKIN BEAUTIFUL. Really reminding me of “SCARING OF THE HOES” because of its sheer emotion and experimentation. The absolute opposite direction that mainstream music is going in. Not scared to hide any vulnerability…
A digital soundscape like no other. Like being transported into a digital, futuristic, yet dark world, “Kid A” is a completely different from its predecessor, “OK Computer”. With a much more dystopian, fictional word that I don’t think I could ever have been able to experience without this album to show me. Boasting some of Radiohead’s best moments and also some moments that you might question, “Kid A” is definitely a must-listen!
Something about this album gives this chilly, gangster vibe. A vibe that’s a very different from something like “Illmatic” or “Enter The Wu-Tang” even though they’re all considered the same sub-genre of “Boom Bap”. Something about this album feels much more sophisticated and calculated compared to other 90s rap albums in general. Like this whole project is part of business.

The fact that isn’t on streaming sites is CRIMINAL! One of the heads of the underground and once a member of the Griselda collective, Mach Hommy gives us a cinematic, immersive Abstract/Jazz-rap experience. Almost sounding like an alternative version of “The Ecstatic” by Mos Def. Another record that’s sadly unreleased.
Production is something that you would expect from any pop record but PUT TO THE NEXT LEVEL. The bounciness, the infectiousness, the annoying-ness, and the enjoyment!! The cinematic, dramatic nature of Charli throughout this record is nothing I’ve ever seen from mainstream pop and it’s amazing to see this change of pace.
Such a rich, fine album that keeps that vintage, classic feel. JAY-Z’s lyricism is still top notch even 21 years after his debut. He also shows a deep, mature honesty throughout the record, especially in his tone and delivery. Production from No I.D. is top tier, and the sampling goes so freaking hard!

1. Kill Jay-Z: 86/100
Kickstarts the album with an honest and personal rapping performance from Jay. The sampling techniques are beautiful throughout.

A legendary piece of music by a legendary being. This man sings, produces, and writes!!! AND HES BLIND! The production is revolutionary in its energy and innovativeness and the quality throughout this entire album is through the roof. The use of synthesizers is so modern that I can’t believe that this was made a WHOLE 50 YEARS AGO! The content matter is beautiful and I can confirm that these are “Songs in the Key of Life”.
Tame Impala solidifies their sound and influence on Neo-Psychedelia throughout “Lonerism”. They make every verse sound as impactful and memorable as the chorus itself. Armored with thousands of synths, the band (Basically just Kevin Parker) creates their own signature atmosphere, or “feel”.
