I find the draw of this album to be the atmosphere and the general vibe, it has a sense of other-worldliness while also being rather chill and laid back for the most part. Yet, I don't think it is able to justify its chunky length and hefty track listing. I find many of the tracks don't tend to stand out, nor bring anything truly exciting to the table. A very grand album, thoroughly enjoying the feeling of weightlessness present in the production that creates a very mystic sound. Reading a bit on the background of the album, the sound fits the idea of being related to a period of depression, as that weightlessness fits the feeling of not being grounded in your reality. While I don’t get much out of the lyrics when they do rock up, the feeling and atmosphere of the album more than makes up for that.

Experimental Rap is a fairly underwhelming album; the flow is noticeably identical between tracks which with 25 of them becomes very tired and drags. It’s also rather underwhelming, the industrial direction of the production is awesome yet it feels as if it falls short of being truly incredible or ‘hard’.

I'm going to hold onto hope that there's some cheeky marketing going on with the "reality" aspect of this album, and the auto-tune is a gimmick for the singles. It ain't bad, just disappointing man.
