Gorgeous lyrics, sorrowful instrumentation, a melodically underwritten chorus, and autotune smeared across nearly every vocal passage. The song probably would’ve hit a lot harder if the autotune was saved just for the outro, where it could’ve actually added some texture and blended naturally with the instrumental instead of overpowering everything.
The excellent production and delivery transcend me into a spiritual journey.
There’s something unsettling about listening to Soundtracks for the Blind. It pulls you into a filthy dimension where everything feels surreal, so surreal that it becomes both uncomfortable and strangely comforting at the same time.
