Such a good album, I listen to this a lot in my car's CD player. Just solid.
I didn't rate each song in my review book this time, so take this as a diet review. I was recommended this Album from a friend, who loves Deftones, and I'll say it's good. A lot of the songs are good, but they blend together and aren't that memorable, except Engine No. 9, but I may just have to listen to it again some other time. Solid starting album for Deftones, and the gateway drug for my journey into their music.
Just a solid album. I love CAKE, they're a really good band, and this one of their bests. The highs are obviously 'Frank Sinatra', 'The Distance', and 'Nugget'. The low is 'Italian Leather Sofa'. Overall it's a good album, one of my favorites, and I'm yet again glad my Dad has this in his CD collection.
I like this album. While listening to this album for my review I experienced the highs and lows of Audioslave; such highs like the entrancing 'Like a Stone', and the equally energizing songs that are: 'Set it Off', 'Shadow On the Sun', 'Show me how to Live', and 'Exploder'. The lows were 'Light My Way' and 'Get Away Car', which were kind of bland to me. Overall, a truly great album, I'm glad my Dad had the CD in his collection.
