absolutely ridiculous.

if this was a ty album with kanye prod. it might have been pretty good, but instead we get another bunch of unfinished, poorly mixed tracks that lack progression and fleshing out. kanye is at his most unlikable and IDK how you can listen to tracks like king and still fw him. there are some really big highlights here like carnival, good don't die, paid and fuk sum but for the most part ranges from boring to terrible.

UNPOPULAR OPINION: THIS ALBUM IS GOOD BUT NOT GREAT. the run from sic to surfacing is absolutely legendary and is one of the best moments in their discog. then we get to spit it out. NEVER liked this song i'm so sorry the rapping is so bad and the only thing redeeming about it is the really good chorus. after that it most ranges from really good (liberate, diluted, only one) to kinda average (purity, tattered and torn, no life). throughout though we some fucking DIAMONDS.
