what a shame.
i fondly remember being introduced to taylor's music through the 'you belong with me' music video playing on the tv when my sisters and i would switch to the "english" music channels when our parents were out (i grew up with b4u and zee music ever present in the background). when i had my allocated 1-1.5 hours on the computer/week, i spent much of it watching my favourite music videos on youtube vevo. my favourite singers were lady gaga, beyoncé, ... read more
haven't listened to this album front-to-back in more than three years, so it was a pleasant surprise when i suddenly got the urge to dip my feet back into it after "Never Let Me Go" (a song that always makes me cry) came on shuffle.

another slam-dunk from the queen of glitch-artpop: FKA twigs. i feel so incredibly lucky to witness such an artist in my lifetime.

The video is also adorable and they clearly had a blast filming it. Most of all, it was a sound I hadn't heard any K-Pop acts tap into, which showed that Rosé had confidence and her own fresh ideas, rather than making music steered by ... read more
