This album being one of the first rap and soul albums I listened to, I think shortly after I listened to tpab, and saw Kendrick on Tints, I decided to check it out, or at least the song, and I was instantly hooked by the track. I had listened to it at first and it was a slow burn but after a couple of listens it grew on me a SHIT TON!! I can safely say after 2 years, this is possibly one of my favorite Album of his, and of the year.
Songs like; Tints, Anywhere, Smile / Petty show .Paak's immense versatility as a producer and singer, with these memorable hooks and flashy vocal performances, while still booming out of your car speakers.
Meanwhile tracks like Who R U?, 6 Summers, and Mansa Musa, show his swagger and rapping ability, with these extremely catchy and just honestly fire performances all around. 6 Summers more specifically is one of my favorites off the album, this beat switch, and self conscious lyrics speaking on gun violence, specifically in schools, crooked leaders and systems built against minorities.

This record has some or .Paak's best work, if not the best RnB and Neo-Soul of the 2010's. and is sure to leave his name lingering in everyones heads, if Malibu hadn't

Favs: The Chase, Headlow, Tints, Who R U?, 6 Summers, Smile / Petty, Mansa Musa, Brother's Keeper, Anywhere, Cheers, Sweet Chick.

Worst: Left To Right
