Doesn't necessarily have one song that really pops on first listen, but still super solid. They still got it.
little do poeple know that when j cole mentions "the ville" he's actually talm bout wilsonville, or
nothing new, nothing crazy, just pure consistency and some of Lenker's best vocal performances
While not without its slickly produced, catchy pop tunes, Man's Best Friend is a largely safe and samey project. Sabrina's cheeky vocals fall flat into shallow lyrics, taking a back seat to generic pop-country synths and strings. I think she has the chops to flourish if she decides to take a more creative approach, but this feels like a shittier version of what we've already gotten from her
While lacking the consistent bangers of the Atlanta rapper's previous album, "God Does Like Ugly" is another fantastic set of tracks, bolstered by JID's versatile, hyper-dynamic flows, clever bars, big-name features and stellar production.
lush, dry, quaint, noisy, DNWMIBIY is a gorgeous record and the band's best yet
A tight, danceable, yet somewhat forgettable collection of tracks backed by Tyler's polished, energetic and synthy production. "Ring Ring Ring" and "Sugar On My Tongue" are my standouts because I, too, love to eat and would like to reconnect (even platonically) with a lost love. The girls had their fun with "Lunch" last summer; "Sugar On My Tongue" is a more gnarly, disgusting munch anthem.
