This album is again somewhat a departure from the two note back-and-forth riffs of their first two albums. The songwriting is not as tight as The Emptiness throughout, though it has some serious highlights, being somewhat frontloaded with Hand in Hand, The Temptress, Circle VII, and Lullaby.
Not as good as their debut, but that’s hard to top anyhow
This is a masterpiece. I'm not going to proselytize about how people didn't appreciate it enough, because I wasn't there at the time. But wow, this album holds more secrets than I thought and some truly amazing songs
Whoa-oh-oh-oh-ohhhhh i guess. I want a song from BVB that has a screaming chorus, and this is again not it. I agree with other reviews that the riffs are boring. I'm happy for more metallic BVB, but this is hardly worth being a single imo. Not a bad filler track, though.

I mostly review albums I like or bands that I like. I review in 5 point intervals because I'm not gonna try to convince anyone that the human mind can make any tier list with 100 tiers. My fav genres are Emo, Post HxC, DxC, and Indie Folk/Pop. I'm trying not to be a snob out here, but I'm a bit of a nerd about emo's phases and evolution.
