the main issue with drake’s music IS DRAKE. a lot of these beats would be better in the hands of another rapper, but instead it was given to the man that raps the same 2 ways every song. the thing is, i like a lot of the production choices on some of these beats, but the problem is that most of these elements are drowned behind the same damn 808s or pseudo boom-bap shit. i like the more electronic parts of the beats, i think theyre audibly interesting, but theyre backseated to ... read more
