Ahhh...Senses Fail. I discovered this band thanks to "Emily is away too", it didn't stick with me back in 2017 when the game released. Sure I liked it back when I played the game but I didn't continue listening to them. Earlier this year I remembered this band existed. So I decided to re-listen to this album. Randomly stumbled on this band because of a Goth music twitter account.
I don't understand any of the lyrics because She Past Away is a Turkish post-punk band, but the vocals carry this sort of dark and mysterious aura around them, just what im looking for in a post-punk and darkwave band/album. The album portrays the 1980's in Poland, of course I wasnt around to experience that time myself as I wasnt even born yet. But I think the album does a genius job at conveying that rough time. The tracks barely have any lyrics, and when they do they are simple in nature.
