On Rush! Måneskin continuously prove that outcasts deserve a good time, and they are here to give it to us.
Rush! is dazzling proof that Måneskin are capable of writing rings around most modern riff monkeys.
With Rush!, Måneskin make good on their Eurovision rock promise, delivering an album that's campy, inspired, and thrilling all at the same time.
Måneskin won their title largely through sheer excitement – big, loud rock ‘n’ roll thrills bursting with panache and style and charisma and sex. On third album RUSH! this modus operandi remains so: every OTT moment here is designed to dazzle.
The self-assumed swagger that enlivens the 17-track Rush! emanates from the focus attack of the band members, whose playing thrums with attitude.
Third album from Italian rockers has energy and charisma wedged into English-language songs.
While it’s true that Rush! starts to feel amorphous, you’d be hard-pressed to find a single moment in its 50-minute runtime where you’re not enjoying yourself just a little.
Rush! sees Måneskin pulling out all the stops and drawing on a range of genres, from glam-rock and punk to the power ballad, for an eclectic end product, but one that lacks the cohesion of their previous record.

However, they leave this Italian-only formula and make a complete English-only turnaround on RUSH! on 14/17 tracks, leaving you with a messy album chock full of questionable cringy lyrics, unfortunate mixing, and ... read more
Horny filler after horny filler after horny filler. Crazy how the only songs I liked on this album were all spoken in Italian. And while most of this album is just painfully mediocre, the bad songs are HORRENDOUSLY bad, like "BLA BLA BLA", "KOOL KIDS", and "READ YOUR DIARY". Not many songs make me physically cringe, but Maneskin managed to release three of them on this album, so I guess they have that going for them.
Ok so it has taken me a few days to actually figure out what I think about this new LP from Italian rock outfit Måneskin.
There is no doubt the band could've done better by leaving some tracks out and maybe rewriting a few.
When I first heard Måneskin win Eurovision in 2021 I was pumped and full of hope that rock would come a little closer to being mainstream, which some might dislike but as a rock fan I enjoy there being more of us. They for sure gained a lot of fans and so ... read more
