I don't really know what to make of this EP. It doesn't sound like anything I've heard from them. I love it.
Solid indie folk, not a big fan of Conor Oberst's vocals, although lyrically he's great.
Favorites: At the Bottom of Everything, Train Under Water
Loved how personal it felt and how well it was able to build up to those releases. Well worth the listen.
Favorites: skytamer, seraphim i, seraphim ii, seraphim iii, genesis
Thx @Crack_Enjoyer for the rec :D
Really liked it at first, but I was a little disappointed that the musical diversity wasn't quite as much as I'd hoped.
Favorites: Love Songs On The Radio, Pictures, Mercy
Quite a departure from their usual sound, but that's mostly a good thing on this album.
A beautiful send off to one of the greatest talents of all time. RIP
Lyrically poignant, but musically a little wishy washy.
Favorite: Holiday, American Idiot
Least Favorite: Are we the waiting
First half is definitely stronger than the second but I really enjoyed it as a whole. Instrumentals and vocals are great.
Favorite: Townie, First love/Late spring
There's a lot going on. A lot of it works for me, a lot also doesn't. Loved tracks 1 3 and 5. Rest were just pretty good. Love how vivid the lyricism is throughout and love the complex instrumentation.
