Took me a while to get around to finishing this whole album. I was never a real die hard Cole fan so maybe I should be more disappointed but this is about what I expected, a mostly good album with a couple of detractors.
Really really really enjoyed it. Some of the best I've ever heard from the genre.
It has its ups and downs but its overall worth the time it asks of you.
Thanks @ConnoL110 for the rec
A lil' rough but I liked it
Favorites: happy news for sadness, something soon, p.o.w
Just a great, accessible gateway into Will's great older stuff.
Favorites: Something Soon, Maud Gone, Los Barrachos
This album creates a great atmosphere that I really enjoyed and shows a lot of potential for a debut album. Thx to @bittersweetidal for recommending :D
Favorites: Rosemary, Hypochondriac, Haunted, Rain, Euthanasia
Pretty good honestly, some of the trap metal stuff is doing way too much but overall I'll definitely be going back to it.
Favorites: GUNS!, DATBOI!, MAGDUMP!, my own, drugs
Least Favorites: STUTTER!, I PICKED IT!, GRAPHICS!
It certainly has its moments but its just a lil to samey.
Favorites: Belly Of The Whale, Dearly Missed
Despite the wide range of times during which the songs on this album come from, Nervous Young Man is still one of Will's greatest endeavors, being one of his most intimate and personal, as well as most enjoyable sonically. As someone who has been confronting his own sexuality recently, this album and Will's music in general is always really comforting for me.
Best: Boxing Day, Don't Remind me, The Gun Song, I Can Play The Piano, Plane Crash Blues, Some Strange Angel
