THE DAY OF REC(KONING) PART 3
Ty @blakea08_ for the rec!
honestly great sounding song, but could switch it up a little in the lyrics, and when there is a mixup in the lyrics, they get lost within the mixing. I don't have a problem with the long intro, It allows me to get into the feel of the whole song, which is much appreciated as it progresses.
That's all I gotta say, excited for whatever else you have in store!
THE DAY OF REC(KONING) PART 2
So, after all these past 3 months or so, I’m finally here. My 100th review.
Ty twinnnn @realjulianj for the rec❤️
I’ve known about this album for a while, it’s pretty unavoidable on this site. I’m not the biggest fan of rock by any means, but Jeff Buckley’s voice carried it over the line for me.
by the sheer energy displayed on this first track “Mojo Pin” I was hooked into this album. It just sounded epic. His voice ... read more
THE DAY OF REC(KONING) PART 1
This is the day where I will get through all the recs that I have stalled on for the past week or so. I'll be going in order of length besides the 100th one, which will be a surprise.
ty for the rec @pindos!
This sounds really good! Flows are good, a catchy hook and good sounding verses from the two of you! The only thing holding me back is the mixing could have made it gone way harder, and I think it's a lil short lived, but it's a load of fun, ... read more
@woaeo did you intentionally put the best pop track from this year with the worst pop track from last year😭😭😭this is certainly one of the remixes of all time
+100 for Slayyyter
-50 for Tayyylor
edit: +50 cuz @woaeo told me to do so
I LOVE MY COMPUTER AND I LOOOOOVE THIS ALBUM! shout out Australia too gng fr🔥🇦🇺
As I dive further into electronic music/EDM recently, I’ve been hearing Ninajirachi’s name around a lot since the release of HALO by Tiffany Day, drawing a lot of comparisons from her. I’ve listened to two songs and a remix of one of them beforehand, those being “London Song” “iPod Touch” and the Frost Children’s remix of “Fuck My Computer”. All ... read more
Ty Conrad @congrammy for the rec!
this is a massive upgrade from Sundog imo, prolly because I enjoy more upbeat stuff, but wow! Keep up the good work, really excited for the album whenever that comes out! Just a really solid ambient song, giving off some nice spring vibes, I fw the cover heavy too❤️
THE ELECTRO-POP REVOLUTION IS REAL??????
We are officially 3/3 for the last three weeks in having AMAZING electro-pop albums. I said in my WORST GIRL IN AMERICA review that I was hoping for a shift towards electro-pop in mainstream pop, and here we are again.
Stunningly emotional and hard hitting production, with some really nice story telling. Multiple chills happened, so ik I'm at least giving it an 80, but I am SO GLAD I went into this completely blind and without knowing who she is, ... read more
This review is an album swap with @realjulianj (ty twinnnn for the REAL holy grail of recs)
I truly do understand why everyone loves this album. I did listen to this album once before, but I didn't bother re-listening up until now, and I have no idea why I didn't think about it more afterwards, because this is one of if not the best pop record of all time (though I haven't listened to the Beatles, Bowie or Bjork so don't take my word for it).
I understand why they're ... read more
@realjulianj ty for the holy grail of recs

fuck the AI cover though🖕for that I have to give it a 50 WHY IS THIS RANKED 124 FROM LAST YEAR GNG😭 😭 😭 THIS IS HIGHER THAN JRJRJR
One of the most vibey and without a doubt the best "pop" record from 2025 that doesn't miss a beat.
Fancy That is an album Jam-Packed with energy, and refuses to cease at any moment throughout the 20 minute runtime. The production's mix of classical elements such as string and piano mixed in with modern drum beats make for a very unique and interesting aesthetic that I've not seen anywhere else, which definitely makes it stand out for me, and the transitions are almost ... read more
Sooo, it's a bit weird to say this is my first kendrick review at 130 followers, but here we are. I just wanted to listen to this today, It's got a great mix of both certified BANGERS and emotional hits, with incredibly vivid storytelling that is easy to follow, as Kendrick holds the listener's hand through his story, discussing a range of topics that are hard hitting and timeless.
First of all the production is excellent all-round and the mixing ensures Kendricks voice is heard ... read more
$LAYYYTER OMFG
This sounds exactly like if Magdalena Bay made a cyberpunk album. That’s what you need to know if you HAVEN’T listened to this 42 MINUTES OF PEAK ELECTRO-POP!!!!
WOW. What an electrifying album, that’s also surprisingly raw lyrically if you can attempt to look beyond the incredible production that is consistent throughout, cuz my head banging for the ENTIRETY of the album. (Almost) every drop hits, and every song feels very distinct. Slayyter’s vocal ... read more
Ty for the rec @Vitaj!
I'm at a loss for words, this was like beautiful but also made me genuinely shiver at points.
I felt very alone listening to this, and the song closest is Tomorrow Will Never Know by Mac Miller, another song associated with death, and is showing, as the faint and echoey vocals were making me feel a lot of melancholy.
Idk what else to say. Not something that I'd return to, but it was something that I did get something out of listening to it.
Saam Sultan is turning out to be a very interesting artist to follow, as over his singles, he's displayed a great range in terms of the sounds he can work within. He first got my attention on his song Locked in Love , which stales in comparison to what he's trying on this. The production is spacey, The guitar riffs are sick throughout, and Saam's Vocals are amazing on this, giving some Frank Ocean Blonde-Esque production which works really well. Really good single, excited to see ... read more
NEW JIM LEGXACY💯💯🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
deserving of a most wholesome cover art oat award
Uhhh idk idk THIS SONG IS PEAKKKKK!!!! Classic amazing Jim Jerk Rap production, but without the melodic vocals, as he hones in on his rapping, which sound good nonetheless. Some very raw and honest lyrics, which show him still being grounded despite his success and talking about his doubts with his future. It's really great track and my new pfp cuz I love it sm❤️
HELL YES greek is BACK BABYYYY!
If y’all don’t know this guy has been dropping some amazing dance/R&B with some really nice melodic vocals and when he’s in his dance bag it makes you want to dance. I love all the bouncy little synths in the production alongside those THUMPING drums and that sick little riff at the end OOOOH it hits similarly to the Digital Love drop iykyk.
DANCE from his album ACCELERATOR was one of my favourite summer tracks, and even though it’s ... read more
RE-REVIEWING TS BECAUSE IT NEEDS MORE LOVE. First off, wtf is going on with this cover? I don't hate it, but why is there some wolf-man giving me the double finger? What did I do?
I remember first listening to this in the car during the day, which is NOT when you should be listening to this. The strangely distant beats throughout and fakemink's weirdly auto-tuned vocals make It perfect for that winter/night-time vibe, that I've never heard anyone capture so ... read more
SLAYR HOP THAT FIRST BEAT NOWWWW
btw B0AH loves women, simultaneously reads French feminist literature while listening to Mitski and Frank Ocean, and drinking authentic matcha from Dubai AND is 6'4"
but jokes aside, 2 good songs production wise, but the rapping is something that needs to be refined on, I think it's just the mic quality or smth, but it's a great start! Keep at it man!
This is how you capture a feeling in 10 minutes.
Earl’s lyricsm and vocals are just so fitting for this downright melancholic and fragmented production. Each part is intentional in it’s stage.
Part I feels exactly how I feel when I’m depressed. Trapped inside of my head, stuck inside a hole , knowing I’ve been here before, but never fully able to dig myself out in the moment. This is one of the many reasons why I do therapy.
Part 2 starts with my interpretation of a ... read more
