Promise I like it LIKE THAT.
I can only begin to imagine what an INSANE rollout this must have been for everyone last year. Every single point of the beat feels almost impossible to tell what might come next, and that’s what makes it so addicting for me, I’m always finding new parts to focus on and enjoy.
Idk what else to say other than this is another solid and undeniable BANGER from Jane, and stay posted for the Revengeseekerz review at some point soon!
I forgot how consistent this album was, and I think it’ll be impossible to replicate what Rocky mastered so early in his career.
LIVE.LOVE.ASAP is an ASTOUNDING debut album for any artist, especially Rocky.
It proves to be incredibly unique production wise, even today. The beats are IMPECCABLE, the flows are laxed and simultaneously go unfathomably hard from Rocky and the features, who all hit the spot for the songs they’re on.
The whole album sounds like a trip, with the spaced ... read more
The music video for this randomly popped up on my feed this morning, and this song IS SO GOOD WHY THE HELL HAVE I NOT HEARD THIS UNTIL NOW???
The synchronisation between the limited elements of the track make this work so well, with Daft Punk’s mastery of progression in their songs being the cherry on top. Also the music video was pretty cool too, gave me really heavy dystopian Knight Rider vibes (if y’all get that unc reference), which was IMMACULATE.
But yeah pretty cool song!
Thank you for my first ever recommendation by @centerarms! I think the beat is the best part of this, Though there’s work to be done in the mixing department, especially with the vocals taking away from what is a actually good beat.
But overall, I didn’t mind this at all, but the thing that’s more holding it back is myself, as it isn’t the stuff I gravitate towards.
My first Mitski album, and boy is this pretty good.
First things first, her vocals are PERFECT in every song, really being able to match every song's production style really well, from the heavy rock production on My Body's Made of Crushed Little Stars, which is my least favourite, based on my personal preference of just not enjoying heavy metal that much, to the amazing, BEAUTIFUL lyricism and vocal runs on Your Best American Girl, where she really shines best in, and is what ... read more
wow, I’m REALLY impressed with this.
My first K-Pop EP, and I thoroughly enjoyed this. This is a nice collection of songs, and all of them work really well on their own, though the vibe is kind of inconsistent, which is where it falls short. Lyrics are barely a factor to be considered in K-Pop, but the group does their best with what their given, as their vocals range from catchy to dreamy.
Anyways I’m kinda sad knowing that this will never be recaptured with their newer music, ... read more
fun fact: this was supposed to be on plastic beach, which is why it sounds a lot like that at points and Yasiin Bey’s feature!
Anyways I love how the production sounds like I’m trapped in some market maze in this middle of nowhere, and I’m RELISHING IN IT. Yasiin flows sooo good on this, and even though I have no idea what they’re saying in arabic, I fw their vocals heavy. I’m really excited for this album, and gives me hopes the album is good, as I’ll ... read more
If this was my introduction to this album, I would be MINDBLOWN. Though it isn’t, I still am every time I listen to it.
My body was already tweaking from the CHEC-CHEC-CHEC- but that DOES NOT CEASE!. The lyrics are raw and unapologetic, helping set up this new era that begun in Jane’s career and life. Nothing really else needed to say about the JAW DROPPING production other than this shit gets me in a trance on EVERY. SINGLE. DROP.
(Also the review of the album will be coming ... read more
I’m glad that this is her most streamed song, the only thing I’m disappointed about is that people won’t listen to her album because it’s so FREAKING GOOOOD!!!
or maybe they’re saving themselves from another Frank Ocean situation.
My best way of describing this is I’m ascending to heaven, while I’m laughing my ass off AND bopping my head up and down cause this song BANGS. Impressive introduction to Chieefy Keef, hope there’s more that sounds like this!.
THE QUEEN HAS RETURNED
This is kind of nothing too much lyrically going on, but SZA can do no wrong. The instrumental and her vocals are heavenly as ever, making for a welcome addition to her discography.
Yeah sure man…idk Tia’s really good on this, Ferg commits the cardinal sin of use 4 fucking smilies in a verse, Zel does 10 second verse and the chorus ig??. BEAUTIFULMVN carries this song on his back with this sick ass beat. that’s kinda it.
Half Blood is the album which will make your ears wilt over like a flower after the 30 minutes runtime but nonetheless BLESSED.
I’ve been liking a lot of Jane Remover, so to hear an actual digicore rap album was probably going to bode well, but I didn’t know I was going to enjoy it THIS much. The transitions on the album elevate the experience as a whole, not to mention THE BEATS DON’T MISS?? Also Slayr’s flows mixed with his auto tuned vocals work really well, ... read more
Son i’m crine tears rn😭😭what is ts🥀🥀 my brain exploded 🤯 during based trumpets 🎺 (it was a little too based⚾️ for my brain🤯)
Only people with elite ball🏀 knowledge give this album what it deserves, because all things considered…
I could listen to this on a 24 hour LOOP.
This album is WAAAY out of what I ususally listen to, but once again , I’m genuinely surprised to enjoy this as much as I did. The only thing I’m annoyed about is another name to the list to artists that are probably never dropping again, but I’m always optimistic, especially after these first couple of surprise drops this year.
Sky Ferreira’s voice is AMAZING on this, it really stands out alongside some really solid pop ... read more
I feel like I UNLOCKED a new style of hip-hop to enjoy!
Kenny’s production makes the whole album have a unique sound, with all the wacky vocal effects on Denzel’s voice and the mix of modern day and boom-bap beats makes this album really distinct to what I’ve listened to recently. Denzel’s flows are full of energy and his natural charisma, which you can never go too wrong with, as well as him having a good variety of bars in terms of topics, which I really respect.

Our modern day Kate Bush?
Thanks to this site for making me listen to this, because boy am I happy that I can watch another artist’s career blossom! The vocals are great, love the range she’s showing off already, between pop ballads and 80’s synth-pop elements, with some really heart throbbing and beautiful lyrics. I’m DEFINITELY listening to more of her soon, because this sounds really good, and the only thing I’m sad about is that the EP itself is fleeting.
Worth listening to, but he could’ve just had these as singles tbh
An amazing introduction to the man, the myth the legend, Frank, OCEAN.
These songs are the most laid back Frank will probably ever sound. It’s an all round enjoyable R&B experience, with my personal favourites being swim good, which has hints about what he would be perfect on channel ORANGE and Blonde. Vivid, emotional storytelling, with HEAVENLY VOCALS (as always). The same can be said for american wedding, which clears The Eagles version, in my personal (VERY BIASED) opinion.
